This is now a 2 for 1 pub which makes it a popular family pub.
We have had lots of very nice meals hear and the occasional meal that isn't so good. If you choose food from the grills section you can't go wrong. I would not recommend choosing the currys/mexican dishes as they are not freshly made (or at least they weren't the last time we had one!) It's an ideal place to visit in the week if you really can't be bothred to cook and with 2 for 1 on main meals (you will pay around £8 for 2) you really can't go wrong.
There is plenty of space as it is a large pub. The downside is that it doesn't really have a garden to sit out in during the warmer months. There are a few tables outside but they are near the car park and road so not really safe for families with small children although there is a small gated play area.
It is a nice place to go to meet family & friends and we recently had a very good night out here celebrating a birthday. -

went to the white horse for mums birthday my dad had a curry he said that was nice and my daughter had lasagne that was nice me and my mum had a steak my mums was nice but mine had all blood in it was awful and the staff said they only had 4 steak knifes in the whole resturant found that hard to believe we then after a while was given some steak knives it was absolutely freezing in there had to eat our meal with our coats on it used to be a lovely pub it will proberly be better in the summer i hope

For food this is more of a restaurant than a pub, and the prices do reflect this. However if you fancy spending a few more quid and having a slighlty higher quality of food from a good menu this is a good pub. Large spacxious car park in a safe area. Food is always fresh and is served hot
